Bambora's Card Storage solution allows you to store a credit card against a unique reference for future use with Bambora. The unique reference can subsequently be submitted by you for future recurring or one-click payment requests. Once the token is submitted, Bambora will look up the corresponding card data and process the transaction as normal. This removes the need for you to store card data in your system minimising your PCI DSS scope and ensuring ongoing compliance against maturing standards.

Keeping the customer's credit card details up-to-date is important for making future payments. If you need to update the card details, like the expiration date or card holder name, you can do so where an existing Customer Number or Token is provided.
